Introduction
Use this guide to help troubleshoot what to do if you are unable to file an email because the CMap Mail panel or the buttons within the panel are greyed out.
What is this happening?
We see this occurring when the Outlook Reading Pane (used to preview emails) has been switched off. In order for the plugin to work correctly, the Reading Pane needs to be switched on as CMap Mail needs context as to which email is being read at the time of filing.
Resolution
- Go to Outlook
- Click on 'View'
- Select 'Reading Pane'
- Select either 'Right' or 'Below'
- File your email as usual
