Introduction
This guide provides instructions on how to add and remove confidential filing permission at the project level.
Confidential Filing Permissions can only be assigned by CMap Mail Admins. Confidential Filing Permissions allow users to file emails as confidential and view confidential emails in CMap Mail Search & Discovery.
How to Assign Confidential Filing Permissions to a User/Group
- Go to CMap Mail Admin Centre - admin.cmapmail.com.
- Find the project you want to add confidential permissions to.
- Click on the person icon.
- You will see all members that have been assigned to the project.
- To add confidential permissions, click on the 'Can Confidentially File' tick box next to the name or group.
- If person has not been added to the project yet, add them first before applying the permissions.
How to Remove Confidential Filing Permissions to a User/Group
- Go to CMap Mail Admin Centre - admin.cmapmail.com.
- Find the project you want to remove confidential permissions from.
- Click on the person icon.
- You will see all members that have been assigned to the project.
- To remove confidential permissions, untick the 'Can Confidentially File' option.
