Fee Estimator Export Templates

CMap’s Fee Estimator Export Template tool is used to create a template for the Fee Estimator exports. When a User goes to export the budget data from a Fee Estimator, it will be produced on the document with the header and footer outlined in your Fee Estimator Template.

In this article, you'll learn how to:

  • Add a new Template
  • Edit an existing Template
  • Archive a Template

Add a new Template

1. From your Dashboard, head to CMap's Admin area by clicking on the  icon, found on the right-hand side of the page. Under the heading TEMPLATES, select Fee Estimator Export Templates.

2. Click on the  button on the right-hand side of the screen.

3. A pop-up box will appear. Choose an Office to assign the Template to. Type in the Template Name that you would like and then find the Template file that you wish to upload onto CMap.

4. Click Add. A Template will be saved onto CMap and the template will then appear under the blue Fee Estimator Export Templates heading.

You can only save a maximum of one template in CMap.

Edit an existing Template

1. Head back into the  Fee Estimator Export Templates Tool.

2. Select the Office (if there are multiple offices) that you wish to edit a Fee Estimator Export Template for from the drop-down list. The Fee Estimator Export Template that you have saved to that Office will be listed.

3. Click the  icon to the right-hand side of the Template Name that you wish to edit.

4. Now you can amend the Office, Template Name and the File that has been saved for the template.

5. Once you have made any amends, you can click the Save button.

Should you wish to cancel any amends at this point, you can click the Cancel button and the template will be saved as it was prior to any changes being made.

Archive a Template

1. Head back into the  Fee Estimator Export Templates Tool.

2. Select the Office (if there are multiple offices) that you wish to edit a Fee Estimator Export Template for from the drop-down list. The Fee Estimator Export Template that you have saved to that Office will be listed.

3. Click the icon to the right-hand side of the Template Name that you wish to delete. A pop-up box will appear asking you to confirm that you wish to archive the template.

4. Click Yes to continue to delete the Template or Cancel to avoid deleting the Template.

Hopefully you are now able to add Fee Estimator Export Templates to CMap and edit any existing ones. You should also be able to archive any templates that are no longer required.
