Public Holidays

CMap’s Public Holidays Admin Tool allows you to populate the Public Holidays for each of your offices year on year. The Public Holiday tool is also used to include Office-wide days on the Holiday Calendar that do not detract from users’ holiday allowance e.g. for AGMs, Away Days, etc. In this article, you’ll learn how to add a Public Holiday that can be applied to CMap users.

1. From your Dashboard, head to the Admin area by clicking on the  icon. Under the heading TIMESHEETS & TIME OFF, click Public Holidays.

2. Select the Office you wish to add the public holidays into.

3. Select the Year you wish to add the public holidays to.

If you have the Team Public Holidays feature enabled, you will be able to select the Team from the drop-down list here.

4. Add the Description of the public holiday e.g., 'Early May Bank Holiday', 'AGM', etc. then select the Date using the pop-out calendar.

5. Click Add to add the public holiday to the Office holiday calendar.

To edit a Public Holiday, click on the  icon and press Save. To remove a Public Holiday, click on the  icon. This will permanently delete the Holiday from the Office calendar.

6. Repeat Steps 2-5 to add the appropriate holidays to all your Offices.

If you wish to exclude certain Users from having the Public Holidays added into their Time Off Calendar, this is managed within the User’s Details page within the Your Users section of the Admin Tool. Simply tick the Exclude Public Holidays box.

Hey presto! Hopefully you can now add new Public Holidays for your CMap users and edit or remove any that are no longer required.
