Report on Time Booked

While there are a number of Standard Reports available on Time, Custom Reports can also be created using CMap's Report Builder (available with the Pro and Enterprise Plans). This article will outline the steps that can be taken to build an example Custom Report that reports on the total hours booked to Projects and Internal Codes.

1. From your Dashboard, select the Reports tab. Select Report Builder from the drop-down list.

2. Select the  icon.

3. On the left-hand side navigation bar, select Choose a Report Type. From the drop-down menu, scroll down to find and select Timesheets.

4. Next, you need to type the Report Title into the text box and an optional Description underneath, which is shown in the Reports menu.

5. For the Preset Filters, scroll down the side navigation bar to Global Filter. Click Global Date Range, drag it to the Preset Filters box and drop it in. Here you can select the Date Range that you would like to use for the report.

6. For User Filters, scroll down the side navigation bar to Global Filter. Click Global Date Range, drag it to the User Filters box and drop it in.

7. For Columns, drag and drop the following fields from the side navigation bar:

8. Click  underneath the column headings. This will bring up the data you have included in the fields.

9. Click Save Report in the top right-hand corner, which will appear in the Not Published section in the Report Builder tool.

There are Table options that you can select to view your table totals. Click here for more information on this.

Hopefully, you can now create a report that shows you the total Time booked by CMap users for Projects and Internal Codes. You can then use CMap Tools to share, publish or export the report so that the results can be shared more widely with your team.
