Project Teams

Project Teams is a panel on the Project Details page which allows you to add a number of different Contacts, Companies and Internal Staff to your project, formulating your Project Team. This article outlines how to set up your Project Team and the benefits of recording this information in CMap.

Add a Project Team

1. From your Dashboard, head to the Projects tab. Select your project from the list. You will be taken to the Project Details page. 

2. Scroll down underneath the Story So Far and you will see the Project Teams panel.

When you first come into a project, the Project Teams panel will probably be empty like this: 

3. To add a contact or a CMap user to your Project Team, click the Add button. This window will appear.

4. Search for the user by Name or Company and then select then type their role into the Role field. 

This search includes anyone in your Contacts database and also all of your Live CMap Users.

5. Click Save and the panel will be updated with your new Team Member. You can continue to add Team Members. 

Manage a Project Team

Edit a Team Entry

1. Click the  icon next to the Project Team Member and the following pop-up box will appear. 

2. Make the required changes and click Save

Remove a Team Entry

1. Click the  icon next to the Project Team Member and the following pop-up box will appear. 

2. Click Yes to confirm that you want to delete the Team Member. 

Hey presto! Hopefully you can now add members to Project Teams which means their contact details are easily accessible to other users. You should also be able to manage these by editing and removing members who no longer need to appear on the project.
