This lesson explains how to make full use of CMAP's Dashboard tool. The Dashboard gives each user an overview on all of the projects that they are working on in CMAP.
NOTE: All of the data found in the Dashboard is relevant to the User who has logged in.
To find your own Dashboard, log into CMAP and click on the "Home" tab on the top left hand side of the screen.
The Dashboard screen will appear blank if you have not yet chosen any specific criteria for your Dashboard.
Adding Dashboard boxes
In order to decide which information you would like instant access to in your Dashboard, click on the “Dashboard Settings” button on the top right hand side of the screen above the “Search” box.
A tick box list will appear. Any boxes that you tick on this menu will add additional information boxes on to your dashboard.
For example: If I chose to tick the “Live Project Status” box at the top of the list and clicked “Save”, then the “Live Project Status” box will appear on my dashboard.
Moving Dashboard boxes
Once you have selected all of the boxes relevant to you on the tick box list, you can choose to move these boxes around your screen by clicking anywhere in each box and dragging it to where you want it to be.
Removing Dashboard boxes
If you decide you no longer want a specific box of information on your Dashboard, you can delete it off of your Dashboard by clicking the “X” button on the corner of the box.
NOTE: You can also do a quick search for Accounts, Contacts and Projects from the Dashboard section by typing what you are searching for in the “Search” box under the “Dashboard Settings” link.
