This lesson explains how Project Manager’s can approve a scheduled invoice to be billed to the client.
Step 1: Go to your dashboard by clicking the Home tab and find the My Scheduled Invoices box. This box lists all invoices that have been scheduled to be billed in-month for the projects where you are the Project Manager (or Wingman, if applicable).
Step 2: Click on the invoice you wish to approve and CMAP will take you to the Invoice Schedule on the Invoicing page.
Step 3: Click on the Approve button next to the relevant invoice to trigger the creation process. This notifies Finance that your invoice is ready to be billed to the client.
NOTE: If the invoice cannot be billed in-month, click the edit pencil icon next to Approve. This will open the Date selector for you to reschedule the invoice.
NOTE: When making a Date change to an invoice CMAP will ask, 'Do you want to reflect the date change in subsequent invoices?' Clicking Yes will push all other scheduled invoices back by the same number of months. Clicking No will not alter the dates of subsequent invoices.
