This lesson explains how to use the User Figures tool in CMAP. The User Figures tool tells you all the historic information relating to a user so you can see how a particular user existed in CMAP as at any particular moment in time e.g. their Working Hours Per Week, Actual Cost Rate, etc.
An example of when you may need to use this tool is when an employee gets a pay rise, but the Actual Cost Rate isn’t updated in CMAP until a couple of months down the line. Editing the Start Date for the Actual Cost Rate will ensure the correct calculations are applied at the right time.
Step 1: Go into the Admin tab, find the User Figures tool and click it.
Step 2: Select the User you wish to view the User Figures for from the dropdown list.
The User Figure history for the selected User will be shown.
Step 3: To edit an entry, simply click the Edit pencil icon next to the record you wish to edit.
Step 4: Make any necessary edits.
Step 5: Click Save.
NOTE: Once any edits are made to the user figures using this tool, the changes will be applied for the period between the start and end dates chosen. Therefore, if the rate is changed, the updated rate will be used for that user during the date range.
