This lesson explains how to use the Dropdown List Editor tool in CMAP.
Step 1: Go into the Admin tab, find the Dropdown List Editor tool and click it.
Step 2: Select from the dropdown list the appropriate dropdown list in CMAP you would like to edit.
Step 3: To add a new item to the dropdown list, enter the appropriate name into the text box and click Add Item.
You will now see a list of all the Items you users have available to choose from.
NOTE: You can drag and drop the Item to reorder it in the list by clicking on it and moving the cursor to where you’d like it to appear.
NOTE: To add a new Item, give it an appropriate Name in the text box and click Add Item.
NOTE: To edit an existing Item, click the Edit pencil and edit the Name as required, then click Save.
NOTE: To archive an Item, click 'X'. CMAP will ask 'Are you sure you want to archive this item?' Click Yes to archive it.
NOTE: To view archived Items, click the Show Archived Items link. If you want to restore any of them, click Restore.
NOTE: Standard CMAP dropdown lists will show here, as well as any dropdown lists created in the Custom Field Manager (see the lesson for Custom Field Manager).
