The development team are locked down, coding away on new features, upgrades and bug fixes to bestow upon you. Here's a heads up on the key developments that will be going live w/c 12th March.
We are working on enhanced functionality in the existing Fee Estimator tool which will prove useful if you tend to spend a lot of time moving things around as part of your job costing exercise.
We'll be adding in the ability to click on a Fee Stage and drag it up to create a new Tab, and you'll be able to drag one Tab into another in order to merge the information in the two Tabs together.
You will also be able to move tasks easily between different Fee Stages as currently they only move within the Fee Stage that they belong to.
One thing we are often asked for is a central tool where you can edit all of your Fee Estimator templates, and that's what we are working on right now.
You'll already know that there is an Admin tool where you can delete Fee Estimator templates, but when this update goes live, you will then be able to use this tool to view and edit existing templates too. Meaning you don't need to apply a template to a project to be able to edit it.
We are looking to improve our approval workflow when a CMAP User who is an approver gets archived.
This update will mean that when a User is archived and they have approval responsibilites, you will be prompted to select who the new approver to inherit those responsibilites should be. You will be able to select from a list of current members of staff and once selected, the new approver(s) will be emailed with a list of Users that they now have approval responsibilites for.
We hope that you have been making great use of the CMAP Academy since it launched in January. As a further enhancement to this area, we are creating a progress report detailing which courses have been completed (or not) by your Users so that you can start to monitor their progress through the Academy courses.
